M8 Dyno Numbers
Replacing headers with decatted OEM headers and dyno tuning FM fuel map = 100.8 hp, 115.4 tq
Not quite the results that Durwood is seeing with the CR480, but it's a different dyno and a different tuner (Throttle City in Levittown, PA)
I don’t fixate on wide open throttle pieces of paper ever, but when somebody who tunes as good as Daren says it’s his favourite cam to date, it’s worthy of my bike.
If yours runs good, be happy, you won’t notice the difference in numbers he, (or FM), end up with when you’re on the road.

I got my Street Bob back yesterday from the tuner. Initially our thoughts were to do a TT250 cam, an S&S Tear Drop Air Cleaner, S&S 124" cylinders and pistons, and Screamin' Eagle throttle body and heads. The thought was that we were building around the RB Racing exhaust which really is a race equipment and really works best at high engine RPM.
Well- we ended up ammending the build a lot. As it turned out- the bike with this pipe was much more capable if we didn't chase high horsepower numbers at redline and instead worked on making the most torque and horsepower everywhere in the operating range. What we ended up with was a peak 140 ft lbs of torque- but more importantly this thing is making over 120ft lbs below 1500 rpm. Peak horsepower is "only" 124- but the bike is honestly the fastest thing off the line I have ever ridden or driven. By the time any bigger horsepower bike would be able to catch up- this thing'd be gone. I guess I'd describe it as not the fastest bike around- but certainly the quickest! The lightweight of the Street Bob package certainly helps too.
Anyway- we ended up doing a TTS 200 cam instead of the TTS250- and I could not be happier with the results. The thing is a literal animal now. There is no comparison between it and stock. I'm sure that if we went with a different exhaust- we'd probably be able to bump the torque up even higher at the low end- different folks results show that- but at least for me- this thing has WAY more off the line grunt than I'll ever be able to use.
The bike is certainly running a lot hotter which is to be expected and I've got to be careful to warrm it up and not let it sit running in super hot weather so thank GOD for lane splitting here in the land of fruits and nuts!
Anyway- all the folks that made this happen deserve mention but I don't want to get anyone in trouble. This bike clearly is intended for use and registered outside the state of California and it's only purpose is off road use etc. etc.
I'll take a picture of the dyno chart and post it- although the Dyno doesn't tell the whole story at all. If I had just looked at the dyno I'd be kind of mad and unimpressed. I'd asked for high horsepower when you're really ringing the thing out! I wanted a TTS250 cam! I wanted 140+ horsepower! Etc. etc. But- you know what? I didn't want that at all. I wanted a super quick bad *** Harley that'd blow sport bikes off the line and be able to keep up with them on fun roads- and I got that!
