The negativity going on in this thread is of no benefit to anyone on HDForums. I would however strongly recommend taking this individuals advice about making your own conclusion on the products you are purchasing and who you are purchasing them from. Do your research; search the various forums, check out the posts & comments, search for reviews, google them, check their social media pages, and most importantly before you purchase communicate directly with the people you are interested in purchasing from or that are doing the work, this goes a long way. A long history of happy customers & long term relationships is what will set one company from the next.

As far as the CR-480 cam; many of you know we are a Cycle-Rama dealer, Wes has a great line of cams that complement our products really well, I expect we'll get a CR-480 in an engine in the next several weeks and we'll report back. As posted Durwood 1 has put these in a few engines with really good results, he has extensive experience with the Cycle-Rama line and no doubt played a part in the development of this grind; he's also a one stop performance shop and a detail oriented individual that you can trust to see thru your build start to finish.

I was just wondering. Thought it might work in a high compression motor. Cycle Rama's website is under construction, so they don't have anything.

The CR-480 will be available in a couple of weeks. I am going to try one in my 124 @ 11.0:1

Thanks for the reply Durwood. I will look for the results of that installation. Do you happen to know when it closes the intake?

The specs are not published currently, but when I get the OK from Wes I will share them.

I was confused as hell as to which cam to use in the 107, now I have a 117 and even more confused which way to go, now this CR 480 rolls in and makes it even more tough, lol. Choices are definitely a good thing, just hard when you dont know alot about cams!

Yes. The Cycle-Rama 480 is a direct bolt in cam.
