Just a head up Fuel Moto just came out with a new lower priced headpipe.

I see you said you are still in "break in period". I assume you must be aware that dumping the factory head pipe likely leads to a non warranty situation?

That being said, the most economical is gutting the stock head pipe. I added the fullsac header and gained 3-4 lb ft of torque down low in the rpm band and a few hp up top. It is however, a very expensive piece, so you have to question the bang for the buck.

I keep on reading that the cats flow so good on the M8 that there are little or no gains in power when removed. This would indicate to me that a retune would not be an issue. Of course it woulds all depend on how good the tune was to begin with.

I went with the SuperTrapp 2-1-2 on my stage 2 build. I planned to use the Fuel Moto Jackpot head pipe, but it was back ordered for at least a month and I didn't want to delay my build. So far the SuperTrapp 2-1-2 seems to be performing well and I'm happy with my choice.

yeah, not sure about that if they are reusing the OEM 02s etc..someone here has probably experimented or experienced with these type of mods

I can vouch for the Fullsac headpipe I run them with the S&S 475 cam and TBR slip ones and they are awesome.

Add another testimonial for the Fullsac MX headpipe. I’m running it along with CFR slip-ons which gave me the deeper tone and just the right volume level IMHO. I had the tab zombies and the MX headpipe just made those a little too much over longer interstate trips.
