My friend has been running the 460 in his ‘19 RGS for close to a season now. He loves it with a TTS tune, Fullsac header, CVO power cores, (1.75”), and it makes 125/115.
Now there is the fairly newish 480.
What is that expected to bring to the table compared to their 460?

If you look around for a poster name of Durwood, he has stated while the 480 is slightly better he would not change the 460 to the 480 just to make a change.
CR480 all the way if you want to go fast!...sorry, just reading the title brought back my old racing memories..we now return you to your regularly scheduled program

Think the 480 has more of a lope to it, for the lope crowd , lol

I recently finished installing the CR480 and have a new CR460 for sale. I've had the 460 for awhile but never had time to install it. Reading Durwood's posts, I decided to buy the 480 and installed it last week. I'm changing the oil tonight, putting in new spark plugs, and will have everything up and running over the weekend. I'll post sound clips with the SE street cannons (what I currently have) and my CFR knockoffs when I get them early next week.

I'm changing out the street cannons later this week and will take another video. I like the lope and plan on getting it dyno tuned after installing the new pipes.

I’m mainly shooting for equal smoothness (like my stock stage one gives me) but increased pull under 4000 rpm.
I will have to get it tuned but from past experiences with my twin cams, tunes made them run like heck down low.
I love my M8.
