Sumping Aint Right
One of my Touring buddies found his oil pressure light was flickering at Idle on His M8 Road Glide.Thought it was my first view of a sumping issue!
Had him buy the new pump baseplate and seal.Pulled the pump and took it apart only to find pieces of the plastic sealring from the Oil container,
used by the service tech,were lodged in the pressure relief valve,forcing it partially open!. Luckily no harm done.
Major heads up to ensure the use of a funnel with built in sieve screen on all oil changes.

That's not sumping. That an oil pressure issue. Sumping is when the pump can't pump oil out not in.
