Default Engine Temp

Hi,
I installed fan assisted oil cooler, but as I see it does not help to keep engine cooler.
I have FP3 and monitoring engine temperature.
At idle temp raised up to 332f(167c). When I checked engine head temp by temp gun, front was about 332f(167c) and rear 275f (135c) and FP3 was showing 332f(167c) - front cylinder temp. I have enabled EITMS.
How could it be , as I know only rear cylinder has temp sensor ?
Oil radiator temp was around 154f(68c), its good, but its seems fan only cools oil, not engine.

There's your answer, an oil cooler cools the oil. But, if you installed the HD cooler, did you have the ECM flashed to make it work?

Yes , of course. Fan is working and blowing hot air.

when the FAOC came out Steve Cole performed some before and after testing

Conditions:
Ambient temperature during testing low - mid 70's
In Town riding with little traffic but normal stop lights
Speed limited to posted speed limits (35 - 45 mph)

Before Upgrade Results:
Measured Peak Engine temperature = 340 F
Measured Peak Oil Sump temperature = 267 F
Measured Peak Head Oil Return temperature = 290 F

After Upgrade Results:
Measured Peak Engine temperature = 302 F
Measured Peak Oil Sump temperature = 201 F
Measured Peak Head Oil Return temperature = 240 F

Of course we have been tell people this of a while. Just ride and forget about it. You are being played. The heads get hot the oil carries away some heat but not enough to make any real difference once fully at operating temps. The design is to keep engine at operating temps .

Thinking to add some fan on cylinder to cool engine down to 270f.
Think 270 is enough for normal operating engine.
