On the twin cam it was easy to see the spring plate in the primary to set the fluid level. I really can’t see the spring on my new M8 road king. Which arrow in the picture is the right level for the primary fluid level?
yes, Bigt001 illustration is correct and what I think you'll find, as I have over 4 years, 4 M8s and over 100,000 miles of changing Primary fluid is that when it drains completely upright, the 30oz initial fill spec is pretty much spot on and if that's all you ever went by it would perform perfectly normal without any issues and just want it to cover the chain...if you're under or over 30oz by an ounce or two it don't matter either from my early experience learning to get it right
Thanks thinking about getting the AIM slave and there's a kit with both.
I am using the AIM slave unit along with their clutch, heaviest springs, with shims and the pull is close to stock. Is is handling close to 150 hp/Tq no problem.
Thanks thinking about getting the AIM slave and there's a kit with both.
I went with the Muller slave. To date, there have been far fewer issues with the Muller slave. It is entirely possible that AIM has figured out the issues they were having...
Yes, it does. The AIM SDR takes a little getting used to at first, but works fine. I added mine with the 128 upgrade
Whew, I'm glad to hear the factory derby fits because I just ordered a pricey custom 128 derby cover for my upcoming 128 build that will have the AIM clutch.
