Nothing good comes from any epa regulation concerning internal combustion engines.
wow, just wow...new level of ignorance frothing to the top...guess we shouldn't buy into the fake news of air pollution being a detrimental health problem, among other things..the World should not even bother trying to reduce it because nothing good can come of it right?

To blame emissions of motorcycles? Let's make them pay the price rather than the real sources. And yes, the whole global warming nonsense is blown way out of proportion.
But you go right ahead and sacrifice your engine. I'll just be sure to never buy a used bike from you. I won't buy one that's 100% stock for 30,000 miles. Mine was bad enough it went 30,000 with the breathers in the intake. I posted pics of the carboned up mess I had to clean up when I pulled the heads. But at least the cat was removed and had an aftermarket exhaust that could breath and a tuner that allowed a sane level of fuel to be burned.
mjwebb has proven his level of fanboy ignorance when he claimed his stock 114 was more powerful than any modified smaller motor because he can light 'em up on wet roads going up a mountain. And his stock 107 ran out breath sooner than his 114. Geeze, it's got bigger lungs Einstein.

Motorcycles contribute an infinitesimal amount of emissions. While they can pollute 10 times more then the average car the number of motorcycles on the road and number of miles driven compared to 4 wheeled vehicles makes their overall contribution to air quality immeasurable. The EPA knew this when they went after them, their own study provides the info but they went after them anyway. Now they want to go after my single cylinder lawnmower that gests used a couple of times month for 45 mins, 7 months out of the year. The EPA is just another over reaching government program that hasn't been rained in in years.
I know MCs aren't the problem..this was was just an ignorant statement

Hell I remember 20 years ago driving to Disneyland in Anaheim, 8 lane freeway, couldn't see the freeway exit sign until I was damn near right under it because the brown air pollution haze was so thick..man it's gross down there..never been back

I could be wrong but I think 60Gunner is stating that the EPA regulations aren't' good for the engines and your assuming he means the regulations haven't benifited air quality.

You're a real piece of work there. Nice backpeddaling tho. lol
Yep, and that's caused by vehicle emissions. I've got some swampland for ya mjwebb. I lived in the greater phoenix area. Over 12 million people and no smog like that.
Again, nothing against the moco. They're only doing what they're being forced to do. But Im not paying the price for CA's smog problem with my engine. I live in the midwest. We have plenty of clean air.
Nothing more to say here. Y'all do what ya want. It's a free world...well that's going bye bye too.

I was describing the traction control behavior..anyway, why are you here talking about M8s..you don't own or haven't owned one so you have absolutely zero credibility talking about their performance, of which you know exactly zero about..please o back under your TC bridge troll and drink your Valvoline Kool Aid
