^^^^^ really?

21k on board , never seen tranny stay full sense new. Put 27 ounces in both primary and tranny at the last change to front run the issue....yesterday tranny had 16 ounces in it so topped it off and installed the Fat Rod.

factory vent verified clear and unbound.

The over sized rod fit well and no impact on clutch action.... stock rod was very oily....

Any one have good results with vent and mod pushrod?

Yes it was but then it went cold and there's no follow up. Very little updates anywhere .

brand new rode home from the dealer and it was transferring back in 2019(2020 FLTRK). Read every post on the webs.

So thank you for your help now please step aside.

Gee...the primary vent fixed mine so far for about 9000 miles. I routinely shift at 4000 and cruise at 78 mph. Every other weekend seems to take me on a 150 mile freeway ride..

I tend to ride 85-90 half the time shift a bit higher occasionally.

The bleeding seems to slow down after the first 5 ounces(within an hour...). I never took it to the dealer. Just been patient, reading and observing.

Let it run for 5k miles this time and did notice some drag on shifting on long rides occasionally so flushed the hydraulic fluid early...might had been moisture?

Then went to put the fat clutch rod in yesterday (5k)* and it was now down to 16 ounces, primary overfull. checked vent.. was clear like nobodies business, was a bit surprised.

Hope the combo vent/fatty works.

Sumping and transmission lube transferring to Primary have nothing to do with each other.
Sumping has been the result of two different issues.

One was a problems that has come up before. Oilers leaking due to defective install the screws did not seat full down. That was a problem in production. It was fixed first on the production line. Bikes already on the road that showed the problem were fixed.

The other was oil pumps that just were not up to the job. It took HD awhile to fix that.

The transfer was fixed with venting. Again not every bike showed the issue.

Not all bike had either one of the problems. Some had both.

I've had good results with installing the primary vent. Have seen no migration from the transmission to the primary.

Video of installing it about 3 years ago.

Nice !
vent alone did not work alone for me. Hopefully the Fat clutch pushrod COMBO will stop or tame the transfer down.

If you ever took a R1200GS apart they have a really long pushrod to the dry clutch.
they have a natty fibre seal recessed into the rod halfway down the length.
Seems a better solution to me instead of a fat pushrod.
It would be easy to machine an Oring groove into the stock pushrod.
I have never had an M8 pushrod out but will be doing a service soon so my take a llook.

The inside of the mainshaft is rough. Seal won't last. HD tried a plastic seal on the clutch slave side but it didn't work. Might work better with the vent tho.
