Contact us in the morning and we can get you a set of lifters and get you rolling. All it takes to stick a plunger in a lifter is the smallest particulate (regardless of brand) it happens. If the plunger is not stuck its possible the pushrod does not have enough preload and the lifter is not functioning properly. We’ve sold in the many thousands of sets of Woods lifters and put them in every engine we build, we rely on them day in day out, we also carry & stock most other brands of lifters as well, most of which are supplied from the same manufacturer. Let us know how we can help
I have no words to describe how great the customer support is from Jamie at Fuel Moto. He went above and beyond on this issue when he sure didn't have to.
I want to also add that after looking at my lifter there's no physical damage I can see. After speaking with both Bob Wood and Jamie it makes sense that something has gotten inside the lifter causing it not to work properly. I will be curious to see what Jamie finds wrong with the lifter. I will also say the Alpha lifters are much more quiet than my oem HD lifters were.

Just goes along with all my experiences with Fuel Moto. Last year, after purchasing a set of Outlaw slip ons in black for my 17 RGS, I contacted them about both mufflers starting to rust. Now this was after the year warranty they provide. I was not expecting anything from them other than letting them know about the issue. They responded the next day to let me know that the issue was unusual, requesting clarification of my make/model etc... and letting me know that a new set would be shipped right away. I have extolled the virtues of Fuel Moto to many and have a number of friends that have purchased, and experienced, the Fuel Moto way of doing business. One in a million in todays business climate.

Fuel Moto Rocks! Jamie and the entire gang go above and beyond to educate, assist and provide outstanding product and service. Kudos to them for assisting with this issue even though it was purchased elsewhere! American Classic Motors is very close to me, 15 minute ride, I will travel to Wisconsin again and again, as I already have, for Fuel Moto to work on my bike! Jamie will the new shop have a dyno for trikes?

Sorry to hear about your lifter issue OP. This is my second bike with the alpha lifters and have never had an issue with them. Hopefully yours was an isolated issue and it is always great to see a company stand behind their product and take care of their customers the way Fuel Moto continues to do.

If I wasn't already convinced to use Fuel Moto for my 128" build, this most certainly confirmed it for me. Finding this type of customer service in today's world is nearly unheard of!Originally Posted by fuelmoto

just out of curiosity, cuz I don't know about these things, how are you certain which one of the lifters is the offending culprit then?Originally Posted by Hale816
