Def will be buying my 128 kit from them next year. Ordered new Jackpot slip-ons from them today, requested a new map due to a new header as well coming, they say is supposed to take 3-5 business days and just got it in, only took 4 hours. Amazing service.
yeah I was just wondering if you could tell by listening which one was the noisy one..never had one fail in over 200,000 miles
The noise seemed a little more towards the front cylinder so I started with the front pushrods and it happened to be the exhause side lifter on the front cylinder. I went ahead and removed all of them for a quick inspection.
I know this is a little older thread, but wanted to throw my recent experience in there since it's fitting the thread perfectly.
I ordered a Woods cam kit(cams, lifters, pushrods, gaskets) from FM several months back and had it installed. I put roughly 3k miles on it and it started making a ticking noise being especially bad on start up. After pulling my hair out searching for the issue I decided to pull the lifters and check to see if it was there. Sure enough the lifter on my front cylinder wouldn't stay pumped up. I could push the plunger down with my finger with little pressure. The back cylinder ones were tight and still are almost a month after being uninstalled. I contacted FM to see if there was any kind of warranty or anything I could do since it was still low mileage. Within a very short time frame Justin contacted me via email with an apology and RMA number to swap out the 2 front Woods lifters. I sent them in to him and had the new ones within 2 days total time! He even checked back with me after FedEx showed delivery to be sure I actually received the package! Now if that's not A+++++ customer service idk what is! I highly recommend FM to everyone I ride with and online every time a question comes up about performance Harley parts.
