16 EG TC. Rode about 3 hrs and stopped for lunch. On start up after lunch, all normal. About 3 blocks later in small town traffic, the lifters or lifter went to clacking real good. Went on for about 1 minute and then cleared up and never returned the rest of the day. The same exact thing happened the next morning after leaving hotel to go gas up- almost identical timing and RPMs.
Checked oil level and was good. Oil was changed just before trip so only had about 500 miles on it. On the return trip home, no issues.
Bike has about 15k miles and I've never heard this crazy clack before. Still under warranty. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Sounds like a lifter is going ouy. I'd have the dealer look at it.
Sounds like lifter(s) bleeding down after shut down but pumping up after startup. No harm being done, ride it until the clacking becomes constant and replace the offending lifter(s).
