I am also leaning towards this, being a possibility. I called the stealership to see if they would stand behind their work. they said they would call me back, that was three days ago and i have not heard from them.
Did you post a video or audio file with the noise? Sometimes that helps in terms of diagnosing. Also, did you service the oil of all three holes looking at the magnets? I'd expect the primary to have the most fuzz because of the clutch set. Maybe someone from the forum with a more keen ear can hear what you are potentially hearing.
So an update, I took the bike in to the dealership, and of course they told me that they didn't hear or feel the noise/vibration (which is complete bullshit) but i'm not surprised they wouln't own it. I will be opening it up myself this fall once I put the bike away for good. Any solid tips for what to look for when I get in there? i intend to take it all the way down to the drive pull behind the primary and inspect everything. At this point i am leaning towards something in that drive assembly as it feels and sounds like thats where it is coming from.
I may even eliminate the AIM pressrue clutch by throwing the stock assembly back on real quick since its just 3 bolts, make sure something weird isn't going on with that pressrue clutch since that is the only aftermarket part in the primary.
