At the time of Dynojet PV4 release (we are going to start shipping early next week) the device functionality for PV4 will be primarily as a tune delivery device. Users will be able to quickly & easily flash PV tunes from their smartphone, restore your original ECM calibration, you can log ECM data, & read/clear DTC's. At launch there will not be on-device Auto Tune or some of the other features we are used to with the current PV platform, however many of these features along with a bunch of new utilities will be added in several phases as we move forward. Fuel Moto is able to send customers tunes straight to the mobile app which is super cool. We're hoping to do a podcast or video in the next week explaining everything, really stoked about this new product. Also note for those that want to check it out the Dynojet Power Vision 4 app in available for free download now for Apple & Android devices
I checked Dynojet's web site and they show no tunes available for the PV4. What would one use if they had a PV4 now?
How do you upload maps onto the PV4 app? The info I am finding is all geared to previous versions that connect via USB.

The Dynojet pre-configured tunes are accessed directly thru the PV4 mobile app with your smartphone, you can flash these tunes or save them to your Dynojet cloud account. Fuel Moto tunes that are requested at time of sale or submitted thru our Fuel Map portal are sent directly to your cloud account, when you open the PV4 app on your phone you will be prompted "tune waiting" from Fuel Moto.

Now that's really slick! The ONLY reason I liked the FP4 was the phone interface, not this becomes a no brainer, thanks. So when I buy the PV4 from you, you would load a map to my cloud account for my setup?
I just watched the FuelMoto video... I noticed that Jaime said something about the PV4 being the "future" of tuning from DynoJet....
While the all the changes sound really good, albeit many over my level of use... there is one MAJOR change that I do not like....
To use the PV4, I NEED to use my phone... I am one of "those people" who only uses my phone for talk, text, and an occasional picture. I don't even use the internet on my phone, other than as a hotspot for my laptop.... I have not downloaded an app to my phone... ever... to me, my phone is just a phone.. and I intend to keep it that way...
I am a fan of the PowerVision tuner. I use it for three of my bikes, and on three bikes of really close friends... However, if I can only use DynoJet products via a smart phone.. Me and my PowerVision (& DynoJet) will be parting ways...
So my big question is... how long will DynoJet support the PV1 & PV2.....??
When will my PowerVison tuner become obsolete...???

I'm not able to provide more info at this time, however trust me in saying the forward direction of Dynojet's Power Vision line of flash tuning products is very bright. The future I was speaking of is the centralization of the Power Core C3 software among all of the Dynojet tuning products, peripherals, and dynamometers, this is a very big deal. As far as the devices themselves there will continue to be multiple Power Vision platforms; both device & smartphone based options. There are more products coming, and the current PV-1, PV-2, & PV-3B that we know and love will continue to be supported for a very long time, however there will be a software shift from WinPv to Power Core.

Thanks for the info.....
I know I'm a dinosaur, but I'd rather be a dinosaur WITH a PV tuner I can still use.....
