Yeah, when I was young, < 70, I didn't worry as much as I do now. Of course now, I'm the primary care giver for my wife who has Alzheimer's so I really can't get away very often or for very long. I take what I can get:-). I'm looking forward to a few more major trips, but they won't happen until my wife's condition changes, so "looking forward to" may not be the correct wording, but hope ya'll know what I mean
ugh...sorry to hear..doing the right thing, priorities and your wife is fortunate to have a caring and committed spouse..take care and best wishes
I'll soon be 66, and retired the first time at 55, the second time at 62. I guess I'm lucky, I don't worry about much and still run as hard as I did 25 years ago.
Come to Vegas and I'll give you some coaching
Yeah, I retired the 1st time at 67 and we had a few good years of traveling Then I went back to work 2 years ago, I'm a pastor, and served until last November when I couldn't serve and take care of wife. So here I am. I traded the Trike because the wife can't even ride that anymore. (We rode together for 53 years) and went back to 2 wheels. Love being back on 2 wheels, but missing my riding partner. Alzheimer's Sucks!

Ugh, I can't even imagine. Bless you for being there for her, and I think it's great that you have a bike to tinker with - it's good therapy.
