Oh boy, I can't wait for autonomous motorcycles! I'm too lazy to put a key in and turn on two switches. Soon I hope all I have to do is sit on it and it will shift and steer itself. That will give me more time to look at my electronic device and hopefully get more "likes"!

"they don't build cars like the used to"....to which I say Thank God ! my 1970 Dodge Charger needed about a mile to slow down with it's crappy brakes...and I've fallen in love with my 2022 Lexus ES, push button ignition, and touch door locks, auto dimming rear and side mirrors, auto heated and cooled steering wheel and seats, auto parking brake, auto climate control, auto high beams, auto windshield wipers, auto adjusting memory steering wheel, seats and side mirrors, one touch up / down windows and on and on, etc. etc...wish my sunroof had a crank to open and close it, like the windows of my 70 Charger...sure miss going through all those motions manually, this new technology really sucks

like all the new Porsches and Corvettes have? oh wait, they've gone away from those too..damnit, just can't win!
joking aside, I test drove a new VW Golf GTI with 6 Spd manual and it was about as much fun as I've had behind the wheel in God knows how long..seriously considered getting it but knew my license wouldn't last long..and..my previous VW ownership experience made me swear them off for good...in terms of reliability Lexus and VW are on the opposite ends of the pendulum.... but nice to see not all manufacturers have given up on 'fun'..

Nothing changes mechanically, so yes the fork lock still works. You do lose the ACC function, but personally I never used it anyway.
Edit --- see below. You do not lose the ACC function.
