I have 2018 FLHX stage III completed by HD. It has SE race tuner. I changed to a Arlen Ness Big Sucker. It seems to affected the way it runs. I called and to re-program and Dyno is crazy priced. Is this something I can do. I would have to order the connection cord but I do have the tuner and other information. Or should I just go with a totally different tuner?
Thanks
What air cleaner were you running before changing to the Ness Big Sucker? If it was already a high flow air cleaner when it was previously tuned, you may not need to retune.
I'd run it a little to see how it responds, and check the plugs to see how they look and go form there.
Call Fuel Moto and let them know what you are dealing with. They have great service and won't waste your money. They have set me up on 2 different bikes now and have never steered me wrong... They will even tell you where your wasting your money and work to get you where you want to be...Good luck on your project...

Ive never had any luck mixing SE with aftermarket. If u are going to run all SE parts, thats fine. Its all been tested and tuned to work great and it does. When u start putting aftermarket parts into the mix, that is when things go south. IMPO. If u are planning on keeping the Big Sucker, i would be heading towards a aftermarket tuner and then might just as well do a cam and be done.

You had all of the above done and now youve changed the intake. Dump the Big Sucker and go back. You want cool looks or perfect Performance?!
