Default SE Heavy breather elite breather bypass

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...Kit/p/29400407
Since there are so many air breathers I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on just the bypass on the SE heavy breather elite as found on the new 2022 Streetglide ST model.
Disclaimer, I know this breather is not new for this year and model, I just used the 2022 ST as an example.
It looks like there are no breather hoses and the blowby exits the breather bolts inside the molded base, then is pulled into the TB. Anyone come up with a bypass? Pics? I don't want to start anything about catch cans or if you run it to the road.

After looking closely at the parts diagram it appears that the path to the throttle body through the backer plate needs to be plugged. The housing around both breather bolts needs to be drilled and tapped.
Actually looks very simple to do, still looking for any pics of the bypass done on this breather.

There was someone that did a bypass on the standard M8 Heavy Breather (the non-elite version) a few years back. They had it posted on the forum somewhere. IIRC they tapped the holes leading into the intake and put set screws in to plug them. Then they drilled into those ports from the back side and threaded fittings into them. Do a search and you might come up with something. I'm certain that these two variations of the Heavy Breathers would be the same in this regard.

Here is a Heavy Breather that was modified. Read a few posts down the thread too: Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8? - Page 13 - Harley Davidson Forums (hdforums.com)
And here's some non-HD intakes that are very similar: Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8? - Page 5 - Harley Davidson Forums (hdforums.com)
And here's another one: Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8? - Page 10 - Harley Davidson Forums (hdforums.com)

They all do the same thing: drill and tap fittings into the breather bolt.

DK Customs also has an EBS kit that comes with all the fittings and such. They also use Permatex Gasket Maker to plug the ports instead of threading set screws: Harley Twin Cam crankcase head breathers system DK Custom (dkcustomproducts.com)

I agree with you, block the passages in the back plate. I would have to see the back of the back plate to know for sure, but if I cant drill and tap the passage length wise, I'd probably drill a hole right thru the passage from the back, then thread it for a 1/4-20, and put a button head bolt in it from the back with red lock-tite. Then I'd drill & tap each stand off somewhere around the 6'oclock position for a 1/4" barb X 1/8"NPT hose fitting (and paint them black)... and install them with red lock-tite..... and tie them together with a "T" painted black... and run the hose to wherever pleases you. Every one I have done, the cast aluminum back plates cut like butter, really easy to work with.

In all the bypass threads there are post with your type of breather... just not as plentiful...
