Decision made. Trask Basket ordered, and will go get (or order) the HD 37000258 clutch kit and the 1275 springs today.
I've got the 10 plate clutch with less than 1000 miles on it. Took it out to install a Rekluse TorqDrive. Showing $236.32 on Suburban for it. Surdyke has it for $214. I'll let it go for $150 shipped. PM me if you want it.

Rekluse TorqDrive.....very nice! Did not know that the stockers used alum instead of steel on the plates....as mine is starting to make a weird squeaking noise when hot......thanks for the info!
The Rekluse torque drive, has some nice steel sleeves for the clutch basket that keep the plates from chewing up the slots in the basket. Also, makes for a smoother clutch.

I was not aware of this! I went with the Evolution Industries basket, and I wanted to install this clutch pack next time, and go back to regular pressure springs. I assume there would be no issue with those shims/sleeves on the aftermarket basket?

The tabs for the rekluse clutch plates are slightly narrower than OEM to accommodate the space used by the sleeves. But the setup is made for the stock basket dimensions. The Trask basket, which I have, works great. I am sure the EI basket would be the
same, as you can use stock style clutch plates in it.
