I currently have a 2019 Electra Glide with a 107. So far all I have done to it is a K&N air filter and Vance and Hines slip on mufflers. I am thinking I will put in a mild cam se 447. My question is will I need a tuner or can I run fine without one ?

Definitely need a tuner. Which one depends on a couple things. Do you have a warranty? Do you want to maintain that? No warranty then there is a lot more options and gains available in the aftermarket. If you want to keep a warranty then the se option is the only way to do that. If you're close to the end of your warranty then just wait and go aftermarket. In CA my options are limited. Im not even sure I can get the SE tuner. But to answer your question. I do not have a warranty. Getting any performance upgrades into CA is difficult. I may have to have anything I want shipped to a friend in another state first.
If warranty is no issue I would definitely opt for one of the great aftermarket cams available from Zippers 468, S&S 475, Wood 22XE, and a few more.
They all perform much better than the conservative SE447.

Thanks everyone. I am looking at other cams now. I was only thinking about using the 447 because I thought it may not require a tuner. As long as I will need a tuner might as well get the better cam.

Great decision. Aftermarket cam, and a Powervision. I read about your difficulties with location, but these guys seem to find a way

How do you guys get emissions test to pass using non EPA compliant tuners and stuff? Or do you bikes have to pass an emissions test? I would assume you do.
