Friday i'm hoping to meet up with Stickman and we'll swap bikes and get more of an unbiased and professional opinion. I'm expecting to replace the clutch anyway since it was an LEO bike and used for competition, all on the original clutch.
Probably will be sticking with stock plates/discs. Any recommendations on springs?
Check for an intake leak due to warped plastic intake manifold. Simply replace with the SE aluminum manifold.
Cop bikes get excessively hot from the competitions (slow speed). All that heat goes right up to the plastic manifold warping it creating intake leaks.

I had a 2015 Street Glide Special. I just picked up my new 2023 Street Glide Special. I noticed the same thing when maneuvering in a parking lot. I finally figured out it was the clutch. I wasn't used to the new clutch but by the end of the day I was getting used to it, muscle memory. I though it wasn't getting enough fuel.

Think you nailed it.
Met up with Stickman, one of the stellar forum members from this site. He was gracious enough to let me ride his super-sweet RG, while he rode my FLHTP. After the ride he gave me a thumbs up and rests assured that it rode as it should. This was all merely me being overly sensitive on an unfamiliar engine. He also gave me some really good advice on things to upgrade on mine, as well as things to watch out for. The more miles I put on it the more I am comfortable with the clutch and fuel injection.
I think it is just a characteristic of EFI systems. Some Japanese bikes are very bad for this.

New bikes have whats called fuel cut off on decel which cuts the fuel when you shut the throttle and bring sit back on when you open the throttle
Its an emissions control that can make some bikes very jerky on the throttle.
A tuner can unselect the option in the ecu and cure it.
Thats very good to know! It could be just a learning curve then. Ill put some more time on it and try and get use to it. That may very well be the culprit. Thanks!
My 2019 FLHTP is my third ElectraGlide. First hydraulic clutch. It took a few days riding to get used to the different feel of this clutch. But now I don't think about it.
Any recommendations on a tuner? I know, it’s probably the same rabbit hole as asking what’s the best oil.
oh hell no, not even close !!!
if you're going to spend money on a tuner I would suggest you find a highly reputable dyno operator within reasonable distance and go with them and what they use and recommend and do some performance parts upgrades like a cam and air intake, new lifters, bearing ... spend a couple grand and do it up right .. most folks are very happy with their results and value added
