Default Oil Pump Change without pushrod removal

Hi
2019 Softail 107.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the oil pump without having to remove the pushrods, is it possible to get the vavles/lifters all in a closed position so there's no load on the cam?
I have a new oil pump and I'd rather not have to fit adjustable rods and the expense etc

Thanks in advance

There is always pressue on the cam, exhaust, intake, opposite cylinders. Just cut them and put in adjustables.

No way around it. Pushrods have to be removed due to tension on the cam and camplate. Takes more time, but you can remove and reuse the factory pushrods if the expense for adjustables is a concern.

If I'm wrong, my apologies, but looks to me like you want to replace the pump to prevent sumping. I woulnd't bother, the overwhelming majority of sumpers were liquid cooled touring bikes.

I would contact Fuelmoto and ask them. They have tons of experience and good tech support

Seems like I saw a picture once posted by fuel moto where they changed an oil pump without removing the cam or push rods, but probably isn't recommended for the average do it yourselfer.

if you were going to the bother of replacing the oil pump I'd go for an S&S, Feuling or even screaming eagle one myself
