I thought that the comp cam lifter for the M8 was DS1003?
Is there a big difference between the DS1003 and the 85001 lifter?
DS stands for Drag Specialties. Thats probably their number for the V-Thunder lifters which are CompCams. Thats probably going to get you the 850 lifters. If you get on CompCams website you can look up the 85001 and see the improvements.

Check your math on the one and half year! New not installed yet and on their way back to FM as of today. Nonetheless they are past their 30 day warranty period but they said I could swap or have a full refund considering the current issue with Woods and their vendor. The Woods lifters were probably fine but I dont care to roll the dice either. Was waiting for my warranty to get closer to the 2-year term, will install later this summer and use 2313s from Larry.
