Default Street Canons fitment

As per HD parts web site why are street canon mufflers not compatible for a 2024 Street Glide?

pure speculation, but I suspect they want to push their new approved mufflers that are $1250 for the 2024 Touring models, but they don't even offer those in chrome so who knows WTF the MOCO is up to with muffs .. other than of course wanting to make us spend more beaucoup bucks..I would think this would have the aftermarket exhaust companies licking their chops to hurry up and design new offerings

The quality control on the Harley site has taken a dive..

I had a set of Street Cannons on my 2022 Road King. When I was shopping for my Road Glide, I went to the HD site to check if they'd fit. I got the "This Part Fits your 2024 Road Glide" message. So I pulled them off the Road King and put the stockers back on before I traded it in.

A few weeks later, I checked again and it said "This part does not fit your 2024 Road Glide"

To add to the confusion, the wording in the 'Details' part of the Street Cannon listing is different on the US and Canadian sites. The US site says they don't fit '23 and later CVO's and '24 and later regular Street/Road Glides. The Canadian site just says they don't fit '23 and later CVO's (But both the Cdn and US sites say they won't fit your '24 in red text).

Harley USA site:
(Fits ’17-later Touring models (except '23-later FLHXSE and FLTRXSE models and ’24-later FLHX and FLTRX models).

Harley Canada site:
(Fits ’17-later Touring models (except '23-later FLHXSE and FLTRXSE models. Does not fit Trike models. ).

I haven't tried to see if they fit yet. Still too chilly and damp in the garage. I'm waiting for warmer weather. But, I've seen a few instances where people have successfully bolted on TAB and Khrome Werks mufflers to their '24s.. Since all the touring slip-ons are essentially the same size, I'm figuring the Street Cannons will fit.

and fitment doesn't necessarily mean able to install properly..it can mean they haven't tested and approved them yet or plan to .. I have experienced this with a few products that weren't listed but worked perfectly well

From what I'm told, all mufflers, both OEM and aftermarket, fit up thru 2024 Touring...
