Default Exhausts and Insurance

I am in the UK. I just bought a 2010 Sportser 883 Iron. I want to change my exhausts to the Vance and Hines Sideshots. I was told that I needed to add a racing tuner and a high flow air filter. I do not think that this makes my bike road legal in the UK. Does this mean that my insurance will be void? What would be the implications of this? Does anyone know? Is there a legal way to do this?

Thank you for your help.

you wontneed a racing tuner, but you might need to take your bike to a dealer ship to have its computer re-programed to allow for the freeer flowing exhuast and intake if you do add the high flow air filter, that shouldnt void your insurance, but i am nto an expert in UK insurance laws
