I saved most when I switched to Hartford Insurance. I believe their claim handling is very reliable.

I don't think so. But I've been struggling with this issue. I know I can save money by going with Progressive, but I'm not comfortable supporting a company with such a leftist agenda. I know, I know... every company out there has supported some cause/candidate at some point that I might not agree with... but I don't think there's any denying that Progressive is way out front in this area.

I think it's very important to read the whole article, before jumping on the "scare" bandwagon. I am not a huge fan of the ACLU. I believe they have strayed significantly from their original purpose. As with so many things in this country, what was at the time of their founding a good idea, has become an albatross around the public's neck.

It would be very difficult to find a national company that at some point, didn't support a cause that offends either the right or the left. Ownership changes over and over again, and with it comes the history of that leadership. If I spent my life trying to avoid companies that supported causes I don't agree with, I would be bankrupt, and probably living under a tarp.

Let's see. Had progressive for my three hds, over 1400.00 a year. Progressive for my b1992 S10 500.00 a year Met life for my house 576.00 a year Total 2476.00 a year. Switched to Allstate. Same coverage, (made sure of that) 1458.00. Yeah I am a capitalist can't ride all three bikes and drive my truck at the same time why am I paying for it w/ progressive? What I saved in premiums is putting new SE cam chain tensioners in the FXDL. Go figger

I love to buy parts and accessories with the "savings" from smart shopping on Insurance!

Wasn't the name Progressive clue enough for ya?
Progressives don't won't tell ya what they want to progress to. But just look at what the current 'Progressive' congress is doing to the Constitution. Czars? How many and who pays them? What checks and balances!? Can't get oppression through congress? Go around it! Pass the power to some regulatory entity. Unconstitutional, ya say? Not the way progressives read it! What? The 'People' don't want more spending? We'll take over health care and show how it too can be run into the poor house. Government does such a good job of ruining everything they touch that they can't wait to tell you what to listen to. So now they want to regulate the internet and cable TV, for our own good ya know. Too much information out thar! What, China sends us tainted food stuff? Well then we better control backyard gardens here in the US. Yeah, right. You don't want Iran to go nuclear? Well we just gotta make that US urainium deal with the russian company that sells to Ajad. They won't help em get Abombs, would they?
US sovreignty? We won' need that when we progress to a socialist global community. Of course, we could progress to a nation of slaves to feed the New Wolrd Order! Yeah, thats the ticket!

Thanks for plagiarizing a right wing, overly simplistic mass emailing, targeting the dim witted sheep in this country. Imagine that, a billionaire sympathetic to social causes. I respect this company even more.

Progressive SUCKS!!!

Like their politics or not, hope none of you have to deal with them over a claim. They tied me up for 9 months with my ex's car saying she lived in another state! She crashed in Massachusetts which has higher insurance rates. F**k them!
