Default 1968 Triumph TR6C Rigid Bobber

Professionally crafted 1968 Triumph TR6C rigid framed bobber built from the ground up. This bobber gathers a lot of attention wherever I go. At bike nights, it is not unusual for several people to even gather to watch me kick it over! This is a very comfortable bobber to ride and is very light and nimble. However, it is not perfect. If you are a Triumph person, its quirks are a day’s worth of work.

Highlights included:
- All numbers match and I hold a clear title.
-Rebuilt drive train including engine, clutches etc.
-Weld-on hardtail with original frame
-Drive train and front end are stock so parts and repairs are easy
-Quickbob tank, rear fender, and seat are from Drag Specialties
-Custom forward controls. I am over 6’4” and are very comfortable for me
-Runs great and starts easily
-Battery with stock dual point ignition
-May include a large amount of parts and manuals, etc. depending of sale price

Important Notes:
-This was built as a rider and not a show bike. I am guessing there is less than 1000 miles since it was built but it does show it has been ridden and has sat for some time.
-This has sat for most of last summer and all of this year as I have been preoccupied with another project. As a result, it is not as shinny as I would like.
-While it looks great in the photos, the paint job is of medium quality and it does show that it has been on the road.
-There is an oil leak developing on the left rocker shaft and was thinking of replacing it during the next valve adjustment, however, I just do not have the time to do it.
-There is an oil leak at the points shaft seal. I have the seals. I was thinking of moving to an electronic ignition and replace the seal then.
-The front forks has a leak. As a result of low fluid, the front end will clunk over bumps. I was thinking of putting on a springer front end but bought a Springer Softail instead and lived with the clunk. I filled it up about two years ago and fluid leaked out since then. When filled, it will drip a little. When empty, it clunks.
-Although the tires look new, the rear tire is starting to show some age and is starting to crack. Since I never rode it far, it never bothered me, however, for safety, it does need a new tire. Price reflects need of new rear tire.

A photo album that includes photos from the time it was built is located here:

Local sale only…no shipping. I can not deliver but can help load it up. Being sold AS-IS

I am not really looking for any trades as I am looking for cash to put up towards a Harley Touring bike for two-up use and a possible move.

I live in SW Ohio. I am home most of the day for inspection.

$5200 or best offer.

Took awhile but the Triumph sold. Hated to see it go but it did find a good home.
