hey i'm not bagging on ironheads. they are still my favorite bike to buy cheap, fix up and sell. but i also know what these things go for.
it boils down to supply and demand. if there is no demand for a particular bike (rare or not) you will have to lower the price. i'm not saying it's right or wrong. just the way it is.
i sincerely wish you good luck selling it...but don't hold your breath.
I know this reply is 7 yrs later. But just to make a point about NADA, those bikes have actually gone DOWN, I have the 82 XLHA version and have been looking for the roadster version, which I have found in mint cond, price is barley over 3K. I know we all think these bikes are worth more, but they actually are not, just my 2 cents, thanks, Larry

Larry, I agree. I was wondering if he ever got a buyer & for how much? Sellers always think they've got a collector worth more than they paid & buyers see an old bike that shouldn't go for more than bottom book. He sure talked a lot of smack back then for a $2>3K bike IMHO. At first I thought maybe he revised the thread LOL
