Default Polar Bear ride

I just saw this on the HP, and while I think the guys who do the Polar Bear Ride are pretty hardy, I'd be pretty sketched out to ride on roads which could be covered in ice... Bundling up is one thing, but if there's snow on the ground, I'm going to leave the bike in the garage...

I guess the trike might make it a little less sketch, but still...

I've ridden on ice once, years ago. This was in Iowa, the roads were clear, but the parking lot was a rink. Only time I've ever gone down while in motion (I have leaned too far once while stationary). I will avoid ice unless there's an emergency.

I have ridden in snow once or twice, just a dusting, but that led to no issues.
