Default Yellowstone/Teton NP's

Hey guys, what would be the best route from Custer, SD to western WY in order to ride through both Yellowstone and Teton NP's? We will be heading back to AZ first part of August and want to hit this area on our way. Thanks.

Take the slab over to Sheridan ( spend the night ) and then either 14 or 14A to Cody,( spend the night ) I liked 14A better. Out of Cody go north and ride Chief Joseph Hwy and Beartooth Pass into Red Lodge, have lunch and ride back over Beartooth pass into Cooke City and into the NE entrance of Yellowstone. You'll have to make your way back to the southern entrance and then its another 70ish miles down to Jackson Hole if I recall.

^ Great route, so long as the roads within Yellowstone are open. Not sure where all was hit by the floods and what is and isn't open, so be sure to check.

Chief Joseph and Beartooth are a must do, if you're in the area, even if the road into Yellowstone is closed, going back to Cody and heading into Yellowstone wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen. We stayed at the Western Rose, while in Cody, nice place, nice people.

Cody is a great place to stay and check out 👍🏻. The Cody museum ( you could spend a day ) Main Street , the Irma hotel & restaurant .
Lots of great riding close by the Cody area .
