There is a new one opening up? Dang isn't there 2 in that are so far? Anyhow I doubt I'll make it. There is the 12th Annual Mule run in Kearney, MO on the 9th suppose to be a pretty good time, thats where the wife and I will be.
Roadhawg- RWP was referring to the KC HD Factory open house they have each year in Sept.. They have free deomo rides where you can ride the lastest offerings from HD out on the open road (about 20 minutes each ride). The V-rods and Buells you are escorted. The rest of the line up you are on your own (or least to ride the mapped out route!).
RWP- did you go? I wanted to, but my wife was down on me taking a day of work off just to go ride some new bikes and which I am not getting another new one yet (her words). Plus I grip that it is all day, hot standing in line, no bathrooms close by, little food, no place to sit etc just to ride 5 times with no buddies to talk to etc. After she repeated back to me my comments from the past couple of years, it didn't seem as fun. Still I would have liked to see for myself if the new 96" is all that or not. If yo went what did you get to ride and what was your impressions?
Jeff, I did not make it. Woke up Saturday morning about 6: am, and it was raining. Went last year and if you get there early, you can be sighed up and out of there pretty quick. Iâm like you just wanted to see if the larger motor has any more gut, s. Wife and I are going down to Fayetteville for BBB at the end of the month, will try them there I hope. Oh, if you havenât heard Topeka HD is opening a location in Lawrence.
Thanks for letting me know about the new Lawrence location, when it going to open up? As a K-State grad I use to a hard time goin into Lawrence, but the last several years I have lightened bit on avoiding Lawrence.
