And thank you, sir. I was having a blast, until I had a blast... lol! This happened on trip #4 over there as a green beenie. It is what I lived for. looks like I wont be able to get back over there any more, and that is a nasty pill for me to swallow. But, I'll make the most of it. I'm nowhere near done yet. I just have to do things a little bit differently nowadays....

Trust me when I say this... I have the utmost respect for you, and can't possibly ever thank you enough for your service, and your sacrifice. You truly seem to be a very dedicated American, and deserve anything and everything our country has to offer.

And to top it off, you sound to be disappointed that you can't continue to serve our country in the same capacity that you already have. You sir, have already done tenfold more than many others have. You also sound to be very determind and dedicated. Again, I thank you sir.

But keep in mind... you owe me no explanation. I mean no disrespect when I ask this, but I just want to understand.

What did you mean by this response?

Fact #1. I started this thread.
Fact #2. He made, what he "perceived" to be a funny comment, on a thread that wasn't his.
Fact #3. I had no idea why he did that, so, I made an assumption, followed by my understanding of what I "perceived" to be his condition.
Fact #4. I never made fun of anyone, much less the disabled.
Fact #5. I was rudely treated, by someone who did not have enough sense to gather the facts, before he started yelling, and name calling, and being blatantly disrespectful.

2004vmc, I'm sure you didn't intend to make a joke about the handicapped, but I can see where it's possible that someone could have misperceived your comment.

The underlined text above should answer your question. You asked me a straight forward question, so I feel like I should give the courtesy of answering you, directly.

I basically was jabbing back at him, for needlessly posting something on this thread. At first glance, I came up with 3 possibilities for why he might have posted something on here, that he had no apparent reason to do so.

1.) he had Tourette's syndrome.
2.) he had some other mental handicap, possibly Down's Syndrome.
3.) he is a forum troll.....

I quickly ruled out number one, seeing as how typing would negate the thought that this could be a random outburst...

I gave some serious thought to number two, however. I quickly recalled the TV show "Crank Yankers", (who did make fun of handicapped people) with the repeated needless laughing after nearly every bit of dialogue in every episode. So this seemed to make the most sense to me.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he was not being a troll. However, this explanation seems to fit better than ever, after his "keyboard tough guy" posting.

So, I posted something equally useless as his useless post, that was obviously aimed towards him.

Now that I have answered your question, if you would be so kind, as to answer one for me. You do not appear to have a dog in this fight, so, why the involvement? Seeing as how the other guy is not responding, this would have already ended, if not for your involvement. Not trying to sound nasty, but the intent of my post has been brought into question by you, twice now, and I am wondering why...

Easy big fella, I meant no harm. It was pure curiosity, friend. Nothing more. After all, it is a public forum. I'm not going to apologize to you, if that's what you're looking for, because I wasn't starting any chit with you.

What drew my inital intention was your sidecar for sale posting. I often post stuff I no longer have a use for, to sell to riders who may want what I no longer do. Primarily, just to fund the next project, or the newest direction I choose to go with bike mods. Not really knowing what the next mod may be, I often check on here to see what others may have for sale. And sometimes, to just see what cool stuff others are doing, possibly for ideas for myself. And sometimes, someone may ask a question. If I have some info to share from experience, then I do. There's a lot of traffic here, and when just surfing for info, that's a good thing.

I've made several friends on here, just being sociable. If you don't want to shoot the breeze, that's fine by me.

Good luck on the sidecar sale.

No worries, I was just curious myself. Wasn't looking for an apology. Still not. Actually, I am selling my car, because I already funded my next project! lol! I bought the LEGUP landing gear. And now I need to build a trailer, so my dog can go with me on road trips.

As a quick side, I had some fun yesterday.... I am having a hard time uploading pics right now, but I will def try again later. I just went skydiving, with my dog attached to me..... LOL!

ride safe, cause soccer moms and cell phones will cause you to slide.....

What did your dog think about jumping out of a perfectly good airplane?

Nice! If it makes it a little easier for you to ride, and allows you to ride even more... then that's great.

Love to see build pics of the trailer as you go, by the way.
