ROT Rally
Anybody going? I searched and didn't find anything in here about it. I've been doing some reading and appears its the biggest rally in TX and one of the biggest in the country. Me and my brother are thinking about loading up the toy hauler with the bikes and heading from Dallas to Austin. This will be our first time.

Been a few times in the past, but it's been a couple of years since our last trip. Austin is my favorite part of TX. Lots of great things to do in the area. It's a good time if you like to party. Things get pretty wild on the rally grounds once the sun goes down. The party downtown on 6th street is a lot of fun too. My favorite thing is to ride the hill country during the day and hang out and watch the party at night. I'd say the Lone Star rally in Galveston is bigger, and ROT is a long ways from being one of the biggest in the country. One negative about ROT is the time of year it's held. It is hot as all hell during the day, and the traffic around Austin is notoriously bad. Even with all that, it's a damn good time.
