Sturgis '08 CAMPGROUND ?
I had the same question for this year... seems like the Chip and Glencoe are hard core party scenes, and not much sleep to be had there. Good to hear about Hog Heaven.. I was looking for a place that would offer a bit of the crazyness, but with an option to get a little rest as well. I have heard alot of wold things about both Glencoe and the CHip (which, for the total Sturgis experience - might not be that bad - how does the saying go, "you can sleep when you're dead"). Any other recommendations for those three spots? - This will be my first Sturgis and I do plan on riding quite a bit during the day
A very nice place to stay is Spearfish City Campground 13 miles from Sturgis large trees with Spearfish Creek running right through the camp ground. All you have to do is jump on I-90, 10 min. your in Sturgis.
I have a reservation at the Bufflo Chip. \\; THis is my first time going. \\; Anyone know how they do showers? \\; Also how hard is it going to be to get ice? \\; I'm sure it will cost.
The Chip in a tent is the way to go for the full gonzo experience.
This will be my fifth year doing it riding in from Alaska and it never gets old.
I am hoping that the cost of fuel will keep the damn RV and trailer queens home.

So I guess if you cant ride a bike if you are disabled or any other reason I guess you better stay home. Only true bikers are allowed to party and have a good time. Why dont you tell all the people that cant ride where you are staying at so they wont ruin your time by showing up without a bike. Better yet save yourself the trouble and stay home yourself. Its morons like you that give bikers a bad rep. What a jerk off!!!!!!!!
