I'm trying to eliminate my glasses shaking and currently run a 7" LRS shield. I plan on ordering a 9" tomorrow to see if that will fix my issue. I've been told the fangs will stop the glasses from shaking but also heard they increase the temps on your right leg. I'm in Texas where temp are regularly in the upper 90's to 100 in the summer. For those that have the fangs and live in warm areas is the extra heat on the right leg a deal breaker? My right leg already gets hot but it's a bike and I expect it but I don't want to increase that heat to a point where it's unbearable or extremely uncomfortable. Please give me your honest answer. Thanks!
Safetyman - That's probably what will happen if the 9" LRS doesn't solve the glasses shake. Just trying to get some opinions and pass the time on a lazy Sunday. Wife doesn't feel like riding and I've got a hangover..lol
I have them on my King, and there is no way I would remove them. I don't find it much hotter on the leg even on days in the 90's. I use highway pegs, so that helps some with air hitting the leg.

Webo, I have the lrs 9 inch and it took care of most of the buffering and all of the shaking glasses it even took care of the wind up the torso but if you use highway pegs the wind will blow your shirt up again.
I have them on mine and I don't feel the heat is unbearable. I certainly don't regret putting them on. I actually think the piece I put on that goes between the forks does more to reduce the problem you are having than the fangs
I have them on my SGS and they do make a difference with the buffeting. I run the 10" windsplitter and have no problem with the glasses. I live in the SoCal desert and have noticed no difference in heat on the legs when it get above 100 deg.
