I'm not sure I'd consider it mostly Hip-Hop. Anyways, the Naked Karate Girls is a very good band, certainly entertaining. The hypnotist, Rich Guzzi puts on a great show. I live no-where near this event, but I make the 1000+ mile trip to it when I can.
You are probably referring to the Redneck Revival in Conesville, IA.

The Conesville rally used to be called The "Hog" wild rodeo...I see they changed the name. The "Circle of Pride" used to host it on their grounds. They had a drag strip and raced every day back then. You could sign up and "grudge" race your friends....Good times.
