60% off everything in the store, lots of parts laid out on tables like a fleamarket.Helmets((XXL,XL AND smalls))Jackets, shirts and other accessories.Bought a jacket for 45 bucks.
i used to work near there, and so did my dad before me (when givadaun was still there)
i have heard the same thing that did legends in. the moco would not give them enough bikes to stay in business. thing that also stinks is, they were happy being located in clifton, but were forced to move, and as awesome as they were, i think it would be tougher to make it in roxbury than where they originally were.
i have also heard that the service folks from legends are moving to an indy shop in dover which will be where i bring my bike in the future if i need any work done.
just like others who posted here, i would ride past kosco to go out to legends to buy parts and get service work done. i dont't know much about the folks at tremonton as i was only there once, but i think i am going to check them out in the spring and see what they are like.
legends will be sorely missed, and i am still shocked by all this. i went up there again last night, they had a bunch of tables out with what looked old sor'd parts and stuff, put the pickins are real slim now. the discount has also been upped to 40% from the previous 30. as of the 31st they were no long affiliated with hd, and all the moco signs have been taken down now.
If what you say is true, why did they have leftover bikes? Something dosn't add up.

Odd, when I was there on the last day there was only 1 bike left, new, the rest were either consignment(trade ins) or new bikes waiting to be picked up...weird.
I think your going to see way more than 100 dealers closing their doors this year. By me Prestige in Rockland and Reggie Pink in Westchester just closed up shop. I could tell the names of 3 more dealers that don`t think they are going to make it until spring, but why spread the bad new.
my buddy called up Legends Harley fri. or sat and he had only a fatboy w/22k on it and he was asking 14000 cant remember what year he said it was.and just heard a dealer by me is closing also but dont want to say the name until its a fact.but change is coming

Don`t worry change is coming....
Yes, while I was at the VTwin Show this year there were a couple of MoCo guys there doing PR work. They had said it was predicted in this years boards meetings that they expected at least 80 dealers to close and production was cut approx. by 25-35%.

Reggie Pink is not closed. I was just there Saturday and again today. You probably shouldn't say stuff like that unless you know for sure. You are right about Prestige though.

Reggie Pink IS closing according to a couple of other dealers. From what I have heard their staff has been told already as well.
