Default Moving to PA, what do I need to know about inspection?

I haven't had a vehicle inspected in 20 years living in Florida, so what do I need to know about inspection in PA? I'm moving to a county that doesn't require emissions, will my V&H exhaust be an issue? My bike is all stock on the outside except for CD LED signal bulbs and smoke lenses. Otherwise it is a stage 2 with SE ventilator intake, cam, and exhaust. Anything I need to do for inspection or will it be fine?

Also, my Trans Am is bone stock engine wise with the exception of the secondary air injection being removed. Will that be an issue? I'm planning on registering her as a classic if possible, but not sure.

No Issues. You will have to go to an inspection station that is familiar with bikes. I just go to a local speed shop or the dealer depending.
If they do all that is required they will check to make sure the lights and signals are working, brake pads, and tire wear. Safety stuff.
Car will be no issue either. Same stuff checked

Just curious, what county ya moving to?

But why would you move from Florida to Pa? Asked by someone that left Pa, 45 years ago.

Butler - I'm from Pittsburgh, but wanted to be more rural.

Grew up in Pittsburgh. Been in FL for 25 years, basically since I graduated High School. I'm sick of the population density and heat. More importantly, when my wife and I decided to try to have kids, I said that if we did, I wanted to move north because I want to raise my kids with seasons, and she agreed. I work remotely (even before Covid) so I can live anywhere in the lower 48, and what we love about the Pittsburgh area is that we can live in a nice neighborhood with some land, rurally, but yet we're only 30 minutes from the museums and everything downtown has to offer. The school districts are great, and so are the state universities and colleges, Plus, I still have some family and friends in the area. I can keep going, but the bottom line is that I think it was a great place to grow up and I want to give my kids the same upbringing. I am going to have an issue when they want to do remote learning instead of snow days, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

My sister wanted me to join her in VA, but I told her I won't live in a state that requires a front license plate . She thinks I'm nuts!

I think classic is you get it inspected once and if it passes thats it. Emissions, post 1996 cars , (OBD 2) you cannot have a check engine light on. Cars, they can fail anything safety related, ball joints, tie rods, struts, shocks, cracked windshield, tires less than 2/32 on two adjacent treads etc. Thing in Pa is its not standard, one guy will fail your stone chipped windshield, and the guy down the street will pass it and sticker it. basically if it isn't a total POS you should be ok. Find a good private small shop where you can talk directly to the owner or mechanic, don't deal with chains shops they have inept counter people who will BS you and youll want to talk to the guy working on your car and they will try and prevent that. This is just my $.02

Enough about cars, Pa is good riding alot of two lane twisty hilly scenic routes, if you live here you are used to it,Pa sucks in other ways but for the scenery and riding, that isnt one of them, the cagers ruin it though but thats was always the case.

Look up McChesney motors (Bob) when you get settled. He's up near Clearview mall, off of 422. Best independent shop around. He's an older guy thats been around a long time. I recently moved up to Sarver, PA (Butler county) and everyone I've talked to says go to him. I only bought tires from him so far and I can't complain.
