Worst rural intersection in PA?
I call this the "Anus of the Dragon". It's on the way out to Gettysburg from my location. I've permanently marked it in my GPS so I can always avoid. From the street view you can see warning signage on the cross road. However, coming up to the blind hill to turn left is very bad, as no one pays attention to the "SLOW DOWN 25MPH" coming in the opposite direction, up the blind hill.
My wife was leading on her Street Bob the last time we went through this intersection. She stopped to turn left and watched cars fly by in the opposite direction. She asked me over the comms, "What the F should I do?". My answer was, "Get in the friction zone as soon as the next car is coming through, clinch your butt and go for it." I did the same next, and hence the name was born. If anyone knows about this spot, well now you have a name for it.
