I had a pretty good time. I took out a Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic, Aniv. V-Rod w/wide tire, and a Wide Glide on Demo rides. The SE Ultra was definaltely my favorite! Rides smoother than most cars, and has some guts behind it too. I almost didn't feel like I was on a motorcycle. V-Rod, sweet ride, handled great and awesome power, but the only way I'd buy one of those is as a second bike, and that's not going to happen. HATED the wide glide, akward and uncomfortable.
I'd love to see H-D bring in some aftermarket vendors, like actual company reps from major companies like Dyno-jet, Kuryakan, and others.
What dealer were you at.....????? I was at Bergen H-D today, and plan on hitting Kosco in the Morning! At Bergen I rode the Ultra......and loved it.....now I want to try a Street Glide though. For my b-day I plan on buying myself a NEW bike.....thats before Thanksgiving.
Tuckahoe and I went to the York open house. Line for the demo rides were too long but we did enjoy the factory tour. Like the idea of someday going up there and watching the bike I want built from scratch.
