Anyone know a good wrench to install a set of V&H Big Shots in the Frederick, MD area besides the Harley dealer? I have a Stage I with a set of SEII slip-ons right now. I could do it myself but I don't have great luck. Thanks in advance.
A buddy of mine had a bunch of work done at Metropolitan Choppers in Frederick, and he was very happy. I haven't used them personally, so I can't speak to their prices or quality of work...
i priced getting my V&H big shot staggards put onmy Deluxe at Frederick HD , then decided i'd save the $$$ for more mods and did it myself. I'm no great wrench by any stretch but a few bolts and brackets and snap rings and it was done and i was glad i didn't pay anyone.
I did it by myself so the only problem i had was getting the pipes propped up in the right position so i could bolt the flanges on.
I'd say get an extra set of hands and you can do it.
All's I can say is that I am two steps away from riding the short bus to work and licking windows to clean them and I did the exact same install myself. Cowboy up and spin the wrench yourself, there is great satisfaction in doing it yourself...guess thats true for a lot of things! Like I always say no one loves me like me!. Anyway make sure you get new gaskets and some lock tight and your good to go.

As has been said a few time now, this is an easy install and follow
the directions below and all should go well. There is a lot of satisfaction in learning to do the work yourself.

If you were close to Jersey i'd say throw it in a trailer or on one and come on up to my place, we could throw down some beers afterwards and light up a few stogies!
There is an indy shop in Etchison, MD at the intersection of 650 and 108 (between Damascus and Laytonsville in Montgomery County). I've never used him but I've heard good things about them.
