Man, I am dealing with some strong winter blues here in PA. Last year was not so bad because we had a couple of 50-60 degree days in December. Now forget it! This summer went by quickly.
What do you do to pass the time? I started playing to old banjo again. But I MISS riding :-(
Bailer - I'am located near Raystown Lake, -Huntingdon, PA-
I definitely agree - Winter Blues -are here (:^(
I spend more time onsites planning of new rides and long weekends.
Thought! Not sure where you are located. However, back in school during this time of year we would hold "Beach Parties" -Covered the floors with rolling paper and dumped in the sand. Brought in Heat Lamps and played tunes -jam type-
Maybe we could convince a "stealer" out there to host!
I either am cleaning polishing or otherwise making my bikes look nicer.....or I am shopping for parts to add to one of them. Or....I am working on them.
or like I did on wednsday....I road my SE-Deuce the 5 miles over to my local dealer service department to havethe SERT and dyno tune done while it was still on sale for $500!!!!
Do what any respectable hawg rider does in the Winter....tear a perfectly good bike apart....'cause you can... this year... the S&S 6 speed.... and paint it...AGAIN... seem to do that every year!
building choppers in my garage with the two teenage boys who live next door to me
its a win win situation.......i get free help and in return they get to learn how to use tools/ build stuff and most importantly are kept out of trouble
I know the feeling. Sold my Heritage the year before last, and built an etbracket car over the Winter in my garage. Got it into the 11s over the Summer and now it sits in my driveway waiting for Spring.
Last week my new Road King Classic arrived, and since its so effing cold and crappy out, I have only been able to put 7 miles on it around the block.
I don't know what I am going to do over the Winter to keep the Blues away, but it will probably involve strapping my wife to the weight bench again.
Sitting watching 50 degree's outside right now unfortunatly gail force winds and heavy rain... ewwww. I guess the bright side is... It will clear my driveway of 3" of ice from last weekend, and the 10" of snow from the Thursday before that. Heck might even clear the streets of the nasty sand and salt. Might have to pull the King out for a spin on Xmas Day
