43 degrees up here in Wellsboro PA today. Put on a whoppin' 75 miles this afternoon. Except for a nice day in the 50s now & then, see ya in April!
Don't say that, lol! I was out myself but only got on about 50 or so. I'll be riding back & forth to work this week, so we'll see how it turns out. Temps are suppose to be in the low 30's at night which sucks cause I work 2nd. Not to bad in, but pretty cold on the way home!
I tried Saturday to get another 100 mile ride for the year but fell short because low 50s, cloudy and windy ended up a cold ride. Need another couple 60 degree days on the weekend. Riding rentals in Hawaii last week was much more enjoyable...LOL
We rode 233 through Chambersburg PA, up to Fayetteville PA and back home Saturday. The the back roads from Elkridge to Harpers Ferry to Berryville and back. As long as there is a high close to 50. We're riding. Mornings maybe a bit chilly, but who cares.
I'm with you ------- if I can get 50 or above, I'll be out there! Hey red devil ---- Our "gang" (The Usual Suspects, as I call us!) never DID get to Cabella's this year. See ya in April or May, for that trip! How long does the brewery tour take? We thought we could do Cabella's & the tour, and get home all on the same day.

Drop me a line when your on the way and a few of us will meet up with ya! The tour is about an hour or so and you can't be wearing any open shoes like flip flops or sandals. Best part is after the tour they take you down to the bar inside the brewery for free samples! Looks like the cold weather is going to hold off for another week, mid 60's by next wednesday!
It won't be this year. Days are too short. We'll probably get 61 up near Shamokin, or 80 to 81 & 61 up by the mall. Like I say, probably next April or May.
Don't cover it up just yet! Looks like we might be able to get out, a day or 2 next week!
I went out at 8:45 am while it was 34 degrees. My Dyna has no windshield but I wore a jacket with liner, a fleece top, a tshirt, neoprene gloves, long johns, jeans, boots, a military neck gaiter and a full face helmet. No problem. I went to teach classes about 35 miles away. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Any of you guys w/in 50 or so miles of Philly missed a great day yesterday for the Children's Hospital toy run. We were running ~80mph on 95 both ways. Wasn't really that cold. I think it was ~50 degrees. Chaps, insulated boots, a couple of layers under the leather, heavier gloves and a bandanna over my face, and it was all good.
If it's above 45 and the sun's out, it's great. But I agree, probably won't be too many more nice days. Oh wait, it's supposed to be in the 60's on Wed. and Thurs. Scratch that!
