I'm not a fan of big rallies or HOG events (seems another reason Todd and I get along, but that's not the point here). Isn't this the second year in a row? A September even cancelled in early February? What's up? I'm like embarassed for NJ...
This is what I've heard through my local HOG chapter. The new chairman is unhappy that the venue location has not changed for several years. Many agree with 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' and many rally attendees love the location and accomodations that Wildwood provides. There are also some rumors of tax evasion but I'm not sure how true that it.
Well, in larger states, I can see where some members would be put off by traveling to the same place every year. But in NJ?! Hell, everything in the state is near, isn't it?
If that's true:
So the new chairman/woman wants us to get motels where ? Jersey City? Atlantic City?
Why doesn't he/she come out and say something?
Starting to sound too political now, probably has friends that own hotels/motels somewhere.
Where can we find info on this new chairperson?
We should start faxing, emailing HOG asking for his/her resignation.
F'n A**hole !
I'm off today so I'm gonna go my dealer and ask, WTF?
