Could anyone tell me what crank case oilthe manufacturer (revtech) recomends using for this motor?

I can't find anything on the web other than a viscosity of 20-50 in general. If it's broken in with at least 5-6,000 miles, I'd go with a synthetic of your choice, 20-50, or HD conventional...

I have one. I have used Amsoil after the breakin.

I have a friend with one and he was told that it would be best to use Rev Tech oil so that is what he does.

That's like Harley recommending Harley oil. Use what you want. Syn is better.
