Default Oil flow help

Ok so I have an 03 flhtpi. I recently did the cam chain tensiones cause like all twin cams they went. So I did them and I got a lot of work done on the bike over the winter, I did it all. So my question is this. How can I Be positive that I am getting proper oil flow thru the engine? I reassembled everything to specs from the manuals and supplement. But I have no oil temp or pressure gauge on my bike to check it and see. Now my other rides are shovels. And on the shovel I can simply remove the oil dipstick and look in and see the oil return spewing oil into the case. When I start the bike up and open the oil dip stick I see nothing coming from what I think is the oil return which I circled in the picture below. There is air being pushed out of here but no oil. Should there be air or oil coming from here when the dipstick is out? Also the oil light is not on. Thanks.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. That hose is a vent from the engine, not an oil line, so you shouldn't see any oil from it. However it sounds as if everything is fine to me.
