I was just given a flo filter to demo today. He said it was 35 micron. Trying to find as much about this filter. Putting alot of effort into this oil system right now. Redoing the cam chest with SE cam plate, fueling 7060 oil pump & found a spring with 50psi pop off using a fueling tester.
So to me it makes for a better system to have the mesh filter to flow the oil better so it's not being recirculating in the plate bypass as much.

I go to clean the flo knock off and it came apart. Now this unit has been given to a bunch of different folks but still does not install confidence. Think I'll go with the made in USA K&P.

Just purchased one from PCRacing recently, work of art. Looks to me as made in USA too, at least the housing as mine had a blemish which they replaced without question after calling them in California. I think the filter unit is sourced elsewhere and the same in many vendor supplied housings. Not even sure that filter unit is the same.

Well I'm learning that DK customs outlaw filter uses the k&p mesh inside with the k&p outside so you get the best of both. 35 micron filter with housing that has the nut and safety wire hole
And the cost is reasonable and no extra for black.
