I just picked up a 91 flhs and it has an aftermarket dipstick thermometer which has no level marks. Could anyone possibly measure their factory stick and see where the marks are? Would be much appreciated!
can not help you here but i can make a suggestion.
when i added a kidney tank to my 74ch so i could add electric foot, the tank was made for internal filter. what i did was on an empty tank, i added a quart of oil and marked my home made stick, added one more quart and marked the stick and then again.
you can do the same on the thermo-stick. depending upon how it is made, some use a bi-metal twisty strip and some a capillary system.
you could use epoxy paint as markers or crimp rings, care not to crush the tube too much.
