Default Kendall 20w50

Anyone using Kendall 20w50? Also, I have an 05 wide glide that has been changed over to S&S gear driven cams, does it matter whether I use conventional, synthetic, or synthetic blend?

They have 12 qts for 51.85, so it's a pretty good price.

Thanks guys.

Your call my friend but I'd use motorcycle specific oil myself.
Cheers

Kendall used to be refined from Pennsylvania crude until they were sold in the mid 90’s. The refinery was bought by another company that now makes Brad-Penn motor oils using the superior Pennsylvania crude.

Well damn it! Another choice: https://penngrade1.com/products/moto...il-sae-20w-50/

Looks like Summit has it, $10.99 a quart https://www.summitracing.com/search/...rder=Ascending

What are you using now? What's lacking with your current oil?

What is the difference with the motorcycle specific 20w50?

A quick search on the Internet will reveal lots of marketing information. Everything from a higher flashpoint to different chemical additives that are supposed to be better for an air cooled engine. Read the information and various opinions and make your own decision. Personally, I use Mobil-1 20-50, available from Walmart in 5-quart jugs for about $25. Works for me, may not work for someone else. Currently have 149,000+ miles on my 2011 Ultra. Never had an oil related issue.

Do you mean Mobil 1 15-50 syn? I've never seen their 20-50 in a 5 qt. jug here but your price is the same they sell the 15-50 for. Maybe it's a geographical thing, idunno...
