more likely your drain plug had the O-ring damaged during install.
new o-ring and some pipe dope or Teflon tape on the treads of the drain plug should be used.
You do know orings on primary is kinda new?
I agree not the oil. I would not put dope on an oring. Unless threads are bad. Then you got to decide do you really want to ride it like that. I suppose it could go long time. Never saying I never rigged anything.
was gonna take the bike for a ride today, but don't have a chance today, so tomorrow. I wouldn't really care about the small leak, but its getting oil all over my bottom of the bike and over on my drive belt. I have some thread and sealant coming in.
